GROUND INFORMATION

You can find all the ground locations at this address - http://www.footballmidnorthcoast.com/index.php?id=701

For U13- Senior teams- our home games are at Dixie Park- you can find directions at the above link. -- Senior Teams- our home games are at Dixie park- you can find directions a

For U6-U12 teams (as well as U14 girls) - our home games are at Tuffins Lane on the western side. See the below map for all information including field numbers and parking.

UPDATED FIELD MAP - PU TUFFINS LANE

MAP/DRAW - Please ensure you check the draw for a field number and then also know where the field is when playing at this venue on a Saturday morning. It reduces the need for people to be asking at the canteen (this map is also stuck on the outside of the canteen wall).

ENTRY - There tends to be a log jam when people park along Tuffins Lane as you come in from Hastings River Drive. We are advising people to make entry from the airport turn off which is the first one (that then takes you past the Regional Stadium). This will result in most of the traffic going one way which will help.

PARKING - There is a noted parking area which should be used for fields 1,2,3,4,5,6 where possible. The parking across the road on Port FC's side is obviously more for their home games. So the more we can get to the designated one the better. Re last games though, it's appreciated if you can move out of there reasonably quickly as we have to lock up the entry gate and then head to Dixie Park for the senior fixtures.

WET WEATHER PROCEDURE

Let’s hope we don’t have a wet season like last year! But, if there is a week where there is rain about you need to check here - http://www.footballmidnorthcoast.com/index.php?id=673

If there is any ground closures they will be on there. All the info is listed re what times they will be put on there by and what radio stations you can listen too etc. Depending on my situation that given day, I may or may not be able to send an email to everyone re washed out games. So your first port of call is that above web link.

Remember - it’s the state of the fields re player and spectator safety as well as looking after field conditions as far as the full season is concerned that is what is taken into account. And despite the odd opinion that is out there, we DO NOT call off games for the fun of it. There is a reason behind such decisions and people just need to except that, not whinge about it. Best bet is to play an indoor sport if it’s an issue for you.

Catch up games – U6-U11 ages don’t catch up games that are washed out. However like in previous seasons, FMNC have added an extra round or 2 on at the end of the season when we have had 2 or 3 rounds washed out.

Competitive catch up games – U12-seniors will be as per previous years rules. If any games go ahead in that particular age group/competition then the rest must also be played. Friday night games are scheduled for 11 days later on a Tuesday, same time and venue as the original draw. For Saturday teams, they are also played 11 days later on the Wednesday where possible with clubs to sort out times (same venues as original draw).
